Kidz Klub Sri Lanka

 A team of six people from Beulah spent 10 days in August  2018 travelling the length and breadth of Sri Lanka presenting Kidz Klub and training Kidz Klub workers.

We started in Colombo with a group of 5 churches. During the day we trained the workers and then in the early evening we ran a kidz klub for the church and community children.

There were around 20 leaders for the training sessions from a broad age range. It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm and commitment to teaching children about Jesus. They embraced the ethos and practical nature of the Kid Klub programme and threw themselves in to the activities.

We had around 200 children at the evening Kidz Klub. Every child was given a kids klub T shirt to take home. They looked amazing in the different coloured shirts. Many responded to receive Jesus as their saviour and were prayed for to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Through the following week the team travelled to 4 different locations. Trincomalee, Batticaola and Vavunia  before ending up in Jaffna. We trained leaders and ran Kidz Klub in each town.  Many of the people were from needy communities, yet there passion for God was wonderful to see and also very challenging for us.

After a Gospel  event in Baticola we encounterd children the following day playing in the street, proudly wearing their Kidz Klub T shirts and singing Christian songs.
